About Five in a Row
Five in a Row (also called Gomoku) is a classic stone-placing game. Players take turns putting a stone on the grid; the first to line up five of their own colour across, down or diagonally wins. The computer opponent blocks open threes and fours, so you will need to build two threats at once.
How to play
- Tap an empty square to place a stone.
- Line up five in a row in any direction.
- Block the other player when they have three or four in a line.
Tips
An open three (three in a row with space at both ends) is a threat โ block it before it becomes an open four.
