About Mancala

Mancala is one of the oldest games in the world. Each side has six pits of stones and a big store at the end. Pick up all the stones from one of your pits and drop them one at a time into the next pits, going anticlockwise. Land your last stone in your store and you get another turn. Land it in an empty pit on your side and you capture the stones opposite. When one side runs out, the most stones in your store wins.

How to play

1. Tap one of your pits (the bottom row) to sow its stones anticlockwise.
2. Last stone in your store = another go. Last stone in an empty pit on your side = capture the stones opposite.
3. Most stones in your store at the end wins.

Tips

Count before you move: a pit with exactly the right number of stones to reach your store gives you a free extra turn.
