About Checkers

Checkers (draughts) is the classic strategy board game. Move your pieces diagonally, jump over the other player's pieces to capture them, and reach the far side to crown a king that can move backwards too. Play a friend on the same screen or challenge the computer.

How to play

1. Tap a piece to see where it can go, then tap the highlighted square.
2. Jump over an enemy piece to capture it — if a jump is available you must take it.
3. Reach the far row to crown a king.
4. Capture all the other pieces (or leave them no moves) to win.

Tips

Keep your back row filled for as long as you can — it stops the other player crowning kings.
