About Word Ladder

Word Ladder is a classic word puzzle invented by Lewis Carroll. Change one letter at a time to climb from the bottom word to the top word — CAT becomes COT becomes DOT becomes DOG. At every rung you pick the next word from four choices; some of them are real words that do not lead anywhere. Three-letter ladders for beginners, long ladders for word wizards.

How to play

1. Look at the current word and the goal word at the top.
2. Tap the word that changes just one letter and heads toward the goal.
3. Reach the top rung to finish the ladder.

Tips

Compare each letter of the goal word with the word you are on — the letters that differ are the ones you need to change.
