About Tap and Count

Tap and Count is one-to-one counting for pre-schoolers. Ladybirds, ducks or stars appear on the screen; tap each one and a number pops up — 1, 2, 3 — so children count out loud as they touch. When every one has been tapped, tap the number that says how many there were. Up to 5 to begin, up to 10 next.

How to play

1. Tap each thing once — a number appears on it.
2. Count out loud as you tap.
3. Then tap the number that says how many.

Tips

Go slowly and say each number as you touch — that is how counting really works.
