About Place Value Blocks

Place Value Blocks uses the classic base-ten blocks: a big flat square is one hundred, a stick is ten and a small cube is one. Count the blocks and tap the number they make, or read a number and pick the blocks that build it. Start with tens and ones, then add hundreds.

How to play

1. Count the hundreds (big squares), tens (sticks) and ones (cubes).
2. Put them together: 2 hundreds, 3 tens and 4 ones is 234.
3. Tap the number — or the matching blocks.

Tips

Count the sticks in tens: ten, twenty, thirty… then add the little cubes.
