About Place Value Blocks
Place Value Blocks uses the classic base-ten blocks: a big flat square is one hundred, a stick is ten and a small cube is one. Count the blocks and tap the number they make, or read a number and pick the blocks that build it. Start with tens and ones, then add hundreds.
How to play
- Count the hundreds (big squares), tens (sticks) and ones (cubes).
- Put them together: 2 hundreds, 3 tens and 4 ones is 234.
- Tap the number — or the matching blocks.
Tips
Count the sticks in tens: ten, twenty, thirty… then add the little cubes.
