About Magnet Lab

Magnet Lab is a science quiz about magnetism. Each round shows a magnet and an everyday object — a paper clip, a pencil, a rubber duck — and you decide whether the magnet will pick it up. Magnets pull on iron and steel but not wood, plastic, glass or paper. The tricky level adds metals that surprise people: aluminium, gold and copper are metals, but magnets do not pull them!

How to play

1. Look at the object.
2. Ask: is it made of iron or steel?
3. Tap Yes if the magnet will pick it up, or No if it stays put.

Tips

Not every metal is magnetic. A fridge is steel (sticks); a drink can is aluminium (does not).
